Automated transfer between tray and tape for efficient packaging
Performs bidirectional transfers between component trays and carrier tape, with integrated de-taping (removal of the cover tape) prior to packaging or repacking

KST-TRL60
Tray & Tape Bi-Directional Packaging Machine
Can Perform Tray-to-Tape Packaging Process
The KST-TRL60 automatically transfers parts from tray packaging to reel packaging. It starts by feeding parts from the tray, with a PLC system calculating the spacing. A robotic arm picks up the parts, checks them with a CCD camera, and removes any defective ones (NG). Good parts (OK) are then placed into the carrier tape and sealed. This machine is suitable for ICs, modules, hardware, and other tray-fed items.
Can Also Perform Tape-to-Tray Packaging Process
Alternatively, the machine can also perform the reverse job — transferring parts from tape to tray. It detapes the components and then moves them into tray packaging, making it a multifunctional solution for customers.
Optional Visual Inspection Function Available
Can detect orientation, dimensions, missing parts, characters, marks, and more.
